What is a Growth Factor?
Growth factors are protein structures that naturally exist within the skin. By binding to specific receptors on the cell membrane, they stimulate cell proliferation and differentiation. In addition to promoting cell growth, these proteins can carry cellular messages such as increasing collagen, hyaluronic acid, and elastin fiber production, suppressing excessive melanin to reduce pigmentation, or accelerating hair growth in cases of hair loss. Through this mechanism, the body is encouraged to restore its own deficiencies.
What is a Biomimetic Peptide?
Since 2002, Dermaheal has been developing and enhancing biomimetic peptides. Due to their structural similarity to naturally occurring growth factors in the body and their ability to deliver the same cellular messages, they provide comparable clinical results.
Microneedles
Also known worldwide as “mesorollers” or “microneedling,” this device consists of 192 ultra-fine, specially designed needles arranged on a cylindrical drum. The symmetry of the needles, the material used, the depth of penetration into the skin, and the total number of needles are crucial criteria. The use of topical products (such as Dermaheal) in combination with Dermaroller to enhance transdermal absorption is referred to as Dermatherapy.
Main Applications:
1. In dermatology, it increases the transdermal penetration of topical formulations by up to 200 times, maximizing their effectiveness in the skin (Dermatherapy).
2. Stimulates new collagen, elastin, fibronectin, and hyaluronic acid production, offering an anti-aging effect.
3. Can be used in melasma and hyperpigmentation treatments.
5. Helps minimize enlarged pores.
6. Reduces the appearance of stretch marks (striae).
7. Effective in improving mobility in burn scars by reducing contractures.
• Does not cause sun sensitivity.
• Safe for use even during summer; does not damage the skin barrier.
• Requires no special care after treatment.
• Patients can immediately return to their daily routines after the procedure.
